The bad part of me is to look for problems … sorry for that!!!
The home page is displayed with a scroll … Scroll on home page??? ummm …. if the size of the photo on the home page is a little small so that the page fits in the window … it will be great!!!
And as in the second image instead of white background, can’t it be in sync with the header color?
I would love to know if there were any specific reasons to build it that way!!!

I couldn’t make it any smaller proportionately or cut it above or below due to the low size of the image! Scrolling on homepage isn’t uncommon these days (eg., Apple.com)
@Phani: I was restricted by the image dimensions.
Secondly, the design is like layers. The header is differentiated from the content area with a lighter shade of a color used for the header. Visually, it makes the user identify the header different from the content. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

A small feedback thou’. The home | contact | careers at the top-right lacks a:hover, I feel.

i guess it wud be good if u hav the footer(on the home page) on every page for consistency.Just ma opinion
