Brand Concept and Visual Identity of Garlic & Onions Restaurant

This is a part of our college assignment. We’re supposed to create the visual identity for a company (fictitious, in this case) and print its collateral and a corporate identity manual. I decided to do it on an international restaurant which is looking for franchise in India and China.

Garlic & Onions is a niche restaurant catering to the people who love recipes that involve garlics and onions more. The restaurant employs experienced chefs from Mexico, Spain, India and Europe who make delicious dishes. GO is spread over North America and Europe and is now spearheading its operations in India and China.

Considering that certain people of India and China are conservative about recipes containing garlic and onions, GO has undertaken a market research and strategically offered franchises especially in India. Five GO restaurant locations have been finalized in India and China. They are Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurgaon, New Delhi and Beijing. The USP of GO lies in attracting the people who love garlic and onions and then our chefs make them taste the best among the recipes to keep them coming back.

As an add-on, we offer imported beverages at a little extra price. Currently, Mountain Dew LiveWire and Mountain Dew BlueShock are under offer. Our trained bearers will offer advice on menu, if you like.

The visual identity of the restaurant is as follows:

Collateral

I created the following collateral..

a. Business Cards
b. Letterhead
c. Invoice
d. Envelope
e. Crew T-Shirt
f. Crew Cap
g. Plate

Corporate Identity Manual

A corporate identity manual is a guideline book which lays rules on how to use the logo and what not to do with it. I created a 10 page manual for Garlic & Onions which you can download by clicking here.
