Illustration: Greek Goddess

After working for 3 hours and painstakingly illustrating the following picture in Illustrator CS2, I saved it and closed. And then when I tried opening it for editing, Illustrator showed up an error message and displayed its inability to open the file. Finally, I found that my file’s been corrupted! :( Anyway, I’m posting the illustration below.

I worked on this one from scratch. It’s not a traced drawing! I drew the picture first on paper and then drew the same with li’l modifications in Adobe Illustrator CS2 with a tablet. Then, I inked it in Illustrator. I love this illustration but I couldn’t do the modifications I thought of doing as it got corrupted! So, this is kinda raw work! Click on the image for a full size version i.e., 1024×768.

As this is my first artwork posted on this blog, comments are quite welcome! ;)

  1. Hi Saawan!! This artwork is very good…The colors suited well..I feel the right hand can be little bit modified to make the artwork more great..

  2. Hopefully, you’d be suggesting her left hand. Right? Personally, I feel that it looks like webbed feet of a duck :D :D That was the last part I worked on and I lost my patience at that point. I couldn’t change that thing afterwards! :(

  3. Good one…

  4. Thanks, bro! :)

  5. Nice! :)
