50th Annual GRAMMY Awards Nominations
The nominations for the 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards are out for 31 fields across various genres like Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Dance, Country, New Age, Jazz etc. The award ceremony will take place on February 10, 2008. The eligibility year considered is from October 1, 2006 to September 30, 2007. The records released between these dates are chosen for the nominations.

5. Amy Winehouse - Back To Black (This should be the winner, in my opinion!)
Song Of The Year

Amy Winehouse is in for a treat with six nominations along with the top categories like Record of the year, album of the year, song of the year and best new artist.
Time magazine reports some of the glitches in this year’s nominations in their website. In the article, the author was talking about Corinne Bailey Rae getting a Record of the year nomination for Like A Star. I do agree with him that the song is really dull and I listened to that song very few times. I prefer Put Your Records On or Trouble Sleeping songs of her.
The 50th annual Grammys are scheduled for February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, and the show will air on CBS. Most probably, in India, Star World should air the show as they did last year.
