Fergie does it again!
It’s of no doubt that Fergie’s debut album as a solo artist, The Dutchess, is a massive hit. I love the songs London Bridge, Glamorous, Losing My Ground and Mary Jane Shoes (with Rita Marley). But, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry‘ is my all time favorite Fergie song! Also, I loved her songs Won’t Let You Fall and Bailamos from the soundtrack of Poseidon.
She does a good job on her vocals on slow and serene songs. Big Girls Don’t Cry and Won’t Let You Fall stand as examples for that. And now, she’s re-released her album with ‘Pick It Up‘ as a single in Japan. This one, again, is a slow number which reminds of ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry‘. The music is very pleasant and soothing. I’m simply in love with the guitar riffs in this song! The song features Will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas (Man! I feel sorry that I missed BEP’s concert in B’lore 
).
Rolling Stone reports that a new Fergie album is in the offing in January 2008. It’s expected to be complete by this December. The success that Fergie garnered by going solo is quite commendable vis-a-vis Nicole Scherzinger (of PCD) who’s struggling to give a hit single as a solo artist.

Ohh..! I was saying that Fergie has created a song similar to her hit ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’. By saying similar, I meant the pace and lyrics (mushy) of the song.
