Mithoon strikes again with ‘Mausam (Zindagi Ne Zindagi Bhar Gham Diye)’

He composed hit tracks like Tere Bin (from Bas Ek Pal), Javeda Zindagi and Maula Mere Maula (from Anwar) and now he’s here as a composer for a complete album. Mithoon is the composer for the album ‘The Train’. I love the song ‘Mausam’ from the album. It’s a mellow track with brilliant lyrics and vocals. And the music complements these elements fantastically to give a hit track!

Sayed Quadri does a great job in writing these heart wrenching lyrics. It’s about the hurdles and troubles one faces in their lives. I really loved the lyrics below:

There are two remixes for the song but they can be ignored as they don’t match upto the original’s tempo. The whole album is worth listening and I also recommend ‘Beete Lamhein’; sung by K. K.

Mahiya and Toh Phir Aao from Awarapan. Mahiya by Suzanne is a peppy dance track which is catchy and danceable. Toh Phir Aao is a sufiana rendition which is slow but a great track. Also, the rendition of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan (Ft. Mahalaxmi Iyer) Bol Na Halke Halke from Jhoom Barabar Jhoom is great to listen.
